Jon Dobbie

From a humble salon in his parents’ basement to fashion week in Australia, international award winning stylist Jon Dobbie has mastered hairstyling, makeup, skin care and advanced coloring techniques. Following a circuitous path that includes high fashion hair styling to Reiki Master to advanced beauty education consultant, he has learned and lived all that it means to be beautiful inside and out. These masteries and practices have given him the wisdom, techniques and passion for the beauty industry that he currently embodies and shares in his services here at Valentini’s.

He is able to interpret, envision, create an respond to the individual wants and needs of his clients on a personal level.

Beyond this, Jon ensures that each customer learns the nuances of their hairstyle to replicate and adapt their salon look on a daily basis. The products, tools and techniques become part of the client’s repertoire.

Jon has worked with and for Kevin Murphy, as well as taught advanced styling, cutting and coloring techniques at Your Space Academy and L’Oreal Professional and various other companies.
